Sweating excessively from the armpits is something that everyone dreads, sometimes it can happen if a person is
nervous or is in an unfamiliar situation that puts them on edge, but for some people it is a medical condition
that they cannot control. This condition is known as hyperhidrosis and it effects people by making them sweat
excessively even if it is cold.

Obviously anyone who has hyperhidrosis wants to know how to stop armpit sweating to make their lives easier and
make them less self conscious of their condition. One of the problems of excessive underarm sweating is that
people who do not understand hyperhidrosis think that someone with it simply has poor personal hygiene and does
nothing about it, but that could not be further than the truth.

Ask anyone who has tried to stop excessive underarm sweating and they will tell you that there are a multitude
of different methods and remedies that can be tried to help with the problem. If you are looking for a natural
way to control your sweating you might want to start by looking at your wardrobe and try to only wear clothing
that is made from fabrics such as wool, silk or cotton. These are natural and will assist the body to regulate
its temperature and can reduce sweating, it is also good to make sure that any clothes are not too tight as this
will just make matters worse.

Using a good antiperspirant is also a good start and this should be applied after showering or bathing and then
whenever it needs to be reapplied, make sure however that the armpits are totally dry before doing so.
Deodorants are not as good as they will only mask the smell of sweat and will not do anything to stop the
sweating.
